Richmondshire Council given formal notice of the Pub Societ'sy intention to submit a bid to purchase the pub.
Property marketed at £175,000, but current market value, according to an independent valuation commissioned by the Council is £110,000.

Thanks for your offer but unfortunately it is somewhat short of the current investment that has been put into the property and as a result I would have to decline it.
Your latest offer is some £ 15,000 less than your original one that was made prior to the commencement of the works that have been carried out in order to maintain the buildings future.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Thank you to everyone who attended the pub meeting tonight. It was really encouraging to see such a large turn out and positive support for us acquiring and re-opening the pub. Very excited and motivated to get this done will look forward to enjoying a pint or two with you in the near future.
